The key to a happy life is getting out and exploring the world. Life is even better when you share it with friends.Jamie Freid
We are a group of students and friends from College of Alameda who enjoy exploring Alameda and the surrounding communities by foot, bike, bus and BART. Our activities have included bowling, mini-golf, movies, beach days, trips to San Francisco, museums and local festivals.
Our mission is to inspire students to get out and enjoy their community, try new activities and meet new people, while learning how to get around the area using public transportation.
Membership is open to students and staff of the College of Alameda. There are no membership dues required. Most off-campus activities will require an admission fee. Members should have a Clipper card or bring money for transportation costs to get to off-campus activities.
Interested students can join by attending a regular Club Meeting, filling out our online interest form, or by contacting Club President, Katherine O’Brien, at (510) 323-6233 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
