Safety Aides

College of Alameda Safety Aides are students that are trained to help take care of the safety needs for students on campus.

College of Alameda has between seven to ten Safety Aides per Academic year. All Safety Aides go through a background check and fingerprinting and must also pass a 40 hour training that occurs in the summer months of either July or August. Once they have passed the background check and completed the training they are then eligible to begin work.
