Online Orientation

1. Take the OrientationHomePageonline orientation (by clicking on the image to the right) for credit and save your progress by entering your student information. If you have already applied to the college, finding your Student ID # is easy. Log into your Passport account and your Student ID # will be located in the upper left corner.

2. After you complete your orientation, print out your certificate of completion and bring it with you to your Assessment appointment. Note: completion of orientation is required before taking the placement test.

Assessment is located on the 2nd floor of the L Building (Library) Room L235.

3. If you are a new matriculating student at College of Alameda and have completed assessment or completed a math & English course at another non-Peralta college, you may be exempt from assessment. However you must still complete the online orientation which will provide you with an overview of your role, rights, resources, and responsibilities as a College of Alameda student. After you complete the orientation, print out your certificate of completion, and bring it with you along with your completed exemption form (and supporting documentation) to your counseling appointment.  You will not be able to make an appointment to see a counselor without all of these components.
