Welcome to the College of Alameda Department of Athletics. Since August 2000, it has been my privilege to serve as the Athletic Director at the College of Alameda.

The College of Alameda Athletics has a rich history of academics and many athletic accomplishments. Our highly-qualified faculty, staff, and administration are passionate and dedicated to providing a positive learning environment to meet the educational needs of our students. Being a “Cougar” means you are part of the COA family.

We ensure that our athletes grow as students and people first, that student’s classroom work must come before athletics, and see that the student-athletes have a positive college athletic experience. The following  are some of our highlights:

  • Annual Student Academic & Athletic Awards Ceremony

  • Twelve conference play-offs

  • Volunteering in the community

  • Implementing a Hall of Fame recognition program in 2014

The College of Alameda is committed to the success of our student-athletes and athletic  teams. We are committed to excellence and we welcome you to join us in reaching our goals.
