MISSION: The Mission of College of Alameda is to serve the educational needs of its diverse community by providing comprehensive and flexible programs and resources that empower students to achieve their goals.
VISION: The Vision of College of Alameda is that we are a diverse, supportive, empowering learning community for seekers of knowledge. We are committed to providing a creative, ethical and inclusive environment in which students develop their abilities as thinkers, workers and citizens of the world.
Our programs include kinesiology courses and intercollegiate athletics. Both are an integral part of the total educational program at the College of Alameda. Our primary focus is the education of students and to give students the knowledge necessary to develop lifestyles that will lengthen and enhance the quality of their lives.
The College of Alameda intercollegiate athletic program provides students the opportunity to participate in Men’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball. The College of Alameda is a member of the Bay Valley Conference (BVC) and the California Community Colleges Athletic Association (CCCAA).
